Revered as one of the great vistas overlooking the Los Angeles skyline, Griffith Park provides the perfect setting for learning how to shoot great sunsets. Our photography instructor has an incredible ability to teach new skills to novice and experienced photographers alike.

Some of the functions that we'll work on include composition, understanding light, aperture, white balance, and shutter speed. The first thing you'll do is to take your camera out of automatic, and put it into manual settings mode.

This is a hands-on, walking photography class. We will work individually, as well as in small groups, to both set up and practice taking great shots. Getting to know your camera's functionality, and putting that knowledge into practice under the watchful eye of an instructor will give you the tools you need to capture and share memories for many years to come.

Camera, bottle of water, questions, smile.

Comfortable, weather appropriate clothing; an extra fleece layer or jacket, sneakers
LOCATION:
We will meet at the Griffith Park Observatory (please arrive with enough time to find parking at the top, or to hike the trail up from the lower parking area on Vermont St.)
